10 Inch Waldorf Preschool Doll "Amanda"
Amanda is a soft and cuddly, 10 inch Waldorf doll. She is a one-of-a-kind wooly friend, has simple features and is handmade from premium natural materials such as Oeko-Tex cotton skin fabric and clean wool stuffing. Amanda is ready to be on the way and will travel carefully tissue wrapped and packaged, perfect for gifting.
I have created the 10 inch dolls, such as Amanda, to be dear friends and have the young preschool age child in mind. They are a wee bit chubby and have slight facial features and shorter hair. Each of my dolls is lovingly created (by me!) according to Waldorf pedagogy, which values the role of imaginative play in the development of the child. The doll's minimalistic features allow it to better respond to the child's emotions and creativity. As the doll is held it will become warm and absorb the scent of the child and his or her environment.
The materials that I have used to create little Amanda are as follows: premium De Witte Engel doll skin fabric T102, cleaned and carded wool stuffing, OEKO TEX Certified Cotton Plush Nicky Velour fabric in "Berry", fluffy mohair yarn in "Toffee", DMC embroidery floss, Gutermann thread and Stockmar beeswax crayon No. 1.
Due to the shedding possibility of the mohair wig and the small hand pieces, this doll is not intended or safe for children under 3. Spot cleaning, when necessary, is recommended. This listing is for one doll, as shown.
